• Predicting the decline from mild cognitive impairment to Alzheimer’s disease using brain scans

  Although people diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) are at greater risk of developing Alzheimer’s, not all patients go on to do so. Dr Archer is using brain scans to try to predict which MCI patients will subsequently develop dementia.
